CAST BRONZE HAS A HIGH QUALITY, TRADITIONAL APPEARANCE

Custom cast bronze plaques have been used for hundreds of years as historical markers, commemorative signs, memorials and awards. Their lustrous gold-­colored appearance can be spotted in parks, churches, government buildings and corporate environments alike. Cast bronze personalized plaques and plates are durable enough to sustain for years in both indoor and outdoor settings because of their corrosion resistant surface and unique composition. Because of their elegant and traditional appearance, custom bronze plaques are excellent for recognition plaques and dedications. WALL MOUNTED AND INSET BRONZE PLAQUES

Bronze is an alloy made primarily of copper and tin, and it is stronger and harder than most other metals. This makes a cast bronze plaque the ideal choice for exterior signage installed on the outside of a building, in an interior lobby or inset into the ground. Cast bronze will hold up well against a variety of weather conditions in high traffic areas. A clear, semigloss lacquer is added to all Masterwork plaques for extra protection against water-­pooling, scratches and general discoloration. Purest bronze plaques have a recognizable luster created by the application of a true chemical patina, which holds up better than a colored paint.

CAST BRONZE IS FINISHED WITH A LONG­-LASTING CHEMICAL PATINA

A chemical patina is applied to the surface of all Masterwork cast bronze plaques. Unlike a paint or stain, a chemical patina will color the background of a plaque without the risk of chipping or peeling away over time. A patina chemically changes the surface color of bronze and is especially useful for bronze exterior plaques that are installed outside or set in the ground or sidewalk, as a patina will not be compromised under foot traffic or varying weather conditions.
