Masterwork Plaques is an experiential design and metal signage studio that produces high quality metal plaques for individuals, designers, contractors and corporations alike. Founded by a team of public artists, we are skilled collaborators with an eye for design and a unique perspective which allows us to create metal products that are long lasting and visually unique. Our projects vary in scope from client to client, ranging from standard signage and historical medallions, to complex wayfinding systems and commemorative projects.

In 2016, Masterwork Plaques was proud to receive an official WBE (Women-owned Business Enterprise) certification from NYC and The Port Authority of NY & NJ. For government agencies looking for women-owned companies to meet their signage and purchasing needs, MWP has extensive experience navigating the government vendor process with appropriate DUNS, CAGE and SAM accounts in place.

Each client’s project is considered important and unique, and we strive to create one-of-a-kind plaque solutions that differentiate themselves from mass-produced, “lazy” signage. We provide custom designs free of charge to potential clients.

Each metal offered at our studio has its own range of benefits, and the variety of metal options allows our customers to select what works best for them. We always suggest that our clients create their plaques from the best materials they can afford. While bronze and stainless steel are more costly than other metals, they last a whole lot longer and the investment pays off over time. Our customer relations team can work with you to determine the highest quality product that fits within your budget.

We provide free consultations for installations and in-depth care and maintenance guides for all plaque projects.
